•  Welcome to my website. Its aim is to give visitors access to my artwork- both paintings and drawings, which cover a wide range of styles and subjects.
  • My website also offers the opportunity to purchase my work, including archive quality reproductions of the originals.
  • I am an artist living in Eastbourne, East Sussex, England. Eastbourne and its surrounding areas have inspiring picturesque views, many of which I have painted. These include the Fishing Station, with its old boats and Eastbourne Pier in the distance; Birling Gap (famous for its sunsets), and celebrated chalk figures in the neighbouring landscape - notably the Long Man at Wilmington and the White Horse in the Cuckmere Valley, near Seaford.
  • I work principally in acrylic and watercolour.
  • I have been selling my paintings and drawings since the late 1970s. See my Back Gallery for examples. My work is in private collections in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, South Korea and the United States.
  • In the summer of 2008 I took part in an art exhibition at Tournon in the Ardèche, showing over 20 of my paintings. Two of those I sold (St.-Félicien, and Muscat Grapes) can be seen in the Back Gallery of this website.
  • I am willing to undertake commissions. Please contact me if you see in the Back Gallery a painting of which you would like a similar version or one of a similar theme (see also range in Current Gallery). For a fuller catalogue of my work and enlargements, see Galleries.

  • Here are two contrasting examples of my work. Avignon is in the Current Gallery (Elsewhere in France) and Montparnasse is in the Back Gallery (2007). You can enlarge the images by clicking on them.
